I'm thinking about buying a set of stock 17's off a guy who's replaced his. How is the fitment on A4, and how are the stock tires? His have 800 miles on them. Lastly, any thoughts on a fair price?
Thanks all,
Troy

The A8 17" wheels fit fine, even though you may choose to add some spacers to move the wheels outward a little bit. The A8 wheels have ET48 offset, so without spacers you get wheels that are 'in' a little more than stock. I would suggest 5-10 mm spacers for a superior look.
The tires will definitely be too big. You need 225/45R17 instead of the A8's 225/55R17.
