I have got these reoccuring brown spots on my wheels. I wash the wheels often to get rid of the dust. I have waxed the wheels a few times as well. The first time I waxed, the stains disappeared for the most part but came back in the same spot with a vengeance. Now they won't go away. Is this a problem with the casting, clearcoat or soemthing else. The stains are for the most part round or oval so it is not spots I have missed washing.

Could be the break dust/Oil on your Rims, when you ty to wash, you could have rubbed them out, they are dark brown (oil color).
Just try polishing with a good wax
