A couple of whacks on the inside of the tire will free it. I use a 5lb sledge. Take care not to hit the rim.

1. Rubber mallot - on the tires first then try the inside part of the wheel
2. 2x4 braced on the tire not the wheel.
We had trouble getting our rotors off we had a brake party last spring at my house. Had to use a 2x6 to pry the rotors off - also used hammer on the 2x6 to help things.

Lower the jack slowly and stop once you hear the wheel break loose. If this doesn't work, just put the car in gear and move it a little (obviously the bolts shouldn't be too loose for this technique).
