Default Hi, which of these 2 tires is better in the rain? Thanks.

Hi, I am considering
Kumho Ecsta SPT or Falken FX-452 in the size of 225/40/18.

Thanks.

Default both are about the same from what i have read. But i would buy the khumo over a falken anyday.

I am running the kumho MX's now and they are very predictable and decent riding. I have ridden in several cars with the SPT and they were quiet and decent handling. The SPT will be the next tire for my wifes car. Good overall summer tire at a great price.

Default hmm...the FK452 are quite new as replacement to the FK451, so there may not be much buzz

about them from the enthusiast base as of yet. somehow I doubt they will be too much different in wet; if anything the differences will be elsewhere. maybe if TR can start carrying Falken, (*HINT to TR, Falken Azenis are my next purchase and I'd love to buy them from you!!*) we'd get the benefit of their comparative testing system on the full Falken line as well.
