How are 205/55/16 on 16x7.5 rims? A friend told me the rims are a little wide for the tires. These

I looked up several 205/55/16 snow tires, haven't found one that won't fit 7.5" but...
for many of them 7.5" is the max listed for rim width on that size. Again, it does depend on the model. (i.e. pirelli 210/240 goes to 8" in that size, blizzaks are 7.5, nokians 7.5)

They are Michelin Arctic-Alpin on MM Action. I checked on Tirerack and that is the recommended tire
size for that rim, so I guess I'm okay. Since these are snows, I'm not that worried about curb rash, ect. Thanks for the help.
