I just ordered 18" x 8" .... do I go with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 Kumho's? Opinions?

Default I just ordered 18" x 8" .... do I go with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 Kumho's? Opinions?
The car is lowered with Intrax super sports.

I would go 225/40 Kuhmo 712 or 225/40 Nitto 555

I heard that going with the 235's will protect your wheel more and therefore the smarter choice.

225's are ok (Kumho's) unless you really smack a curb hard. Lip protector is sufficient.

Re: 225/40 is the correct size, the 235/40 is a bit tall

I didn't think that that Kuhmo's had the lip protector.

Call me crazy but they look like 235's.Figure there's less protection on the other side of the wheel

a bit short you mean.. I say go with 235 40 17. It might be short, but its the best 235 size imo
