interesting discovery .. tire rack vs discount tire
i went in to get some quotes or possible price match on set of s03's or kumho mx's. yok avs prices are far too unreasonable to keep using imo.
come to find out .. discount tire doesnt carry bridgestone(??) and their 225/40/18 kumho mx's are actually $7 cheaper than tire rack's $164 per.
that's mounted and balanced .. add tax of course.
woohoo! guess i'll finally get a chance to see how these things compare to the yok avs sports. =)

true. If you want wheels mounted...
both companies carry different line of wheels and tires. Some tires are cheaper at discount tire but tire rack is primarily cheaper on most tires. I've done business with both and will continue to do so if the price is right.

Costco...
I've found that costco has some tires for cheaper, with mounting and balancing.
BFGoodrich KDWS 225/50/16 are 115 at tirerack (plus shiiping and mounting) and at costco are 119 with mounting balancing.
