I picked up a set of discontinued winter tires like in september, finally time to put them on to try it. It is the same tread as W210A but with softer compound with speed rating 160km/h.
I tried it in wet and dry road only. Very first impression, it is way lighter steering comparing to the ContinentalSportContact2, both have same 235/45/17. Comparing it to the summer tire, it doesnt sound loud much until 100km/h..
is it strange if it feels lighter than summer tires??? at first i thought it will be way heavier..
On dry everything is not bad, but I still dont dare to run fast with them...heh..

...and they were quite impressive in winter conditions, including snow, packed snow, and ice.
But the rubber is soft enough that it wears pretty quickly on dry pavement, particularly in warmer weather. Do a U-turn on cement and see your tracks! HPH
