rather than have to get a crappy winter tire and have OK snow performance and dismal dry road performance, I was wondering if I should look at getting all seasons for the winter and being able to handle dry roads, and just take it easy in the snow (I have a Quattro).
I've had Pirelli P210 Asyms in the past, and for winter tires, they weren't bad on dry roads, but I can't afford $150 a piece this year. I run Yoko AVS Sports right now, so it's coming down to the wire on a snow tire here in Chicago. Any suggestions for something around $100 a piece? Or does anyone know of any decent used 17" winter tires?
TIA!
