Something with longer tread wear, now that my aggressive driving days are mostly behind me?
- Rarely drive at freezing or below
- Like stiff sidewalls and good straight line and turn in
- Dry and wet grip are important
- Noise is important
- Cost is less of an issue, but still a factor

The RE01R and Direzza Sport Z1s (both versions) are a step further towards a track tire with less wear and stiffer ride.
The GSD3 will be slightly softer riding than the S03 with a bit longer wear. Based on what you're looking for this would seem to make much more sense.
What size are you looking at?

Thanks. 255/40-17. Stiffer than RE050 PP? I found them grippy but a bit...
... vague in the handling department, harder to cut a curb close.
