Default Those are the 3 tires I am interested in as well. Tire Rack did a test with the Michelin and the

Yoko, but didn't have the Pirelli in it.... too bad! I think those are the key 3 tires in the Ultra High Performance A/S catagory. I would love to hear some feedback. Thanks. ML

Default ContiExtremeContact is good in the snow. Also search for Nokian WR....

Nokian WR is the best in snow of any all season tire you'll find. Also, you can get it in V rating. If you're looking for a tire to run in the winter that won't give up a what a dedicated snow tire dues on the dry, Nokian WR is the way to go.

If you're looking for an all season to run year round, I'd go the Continental ContiExtremeContact route. The WR can be run through the summer, but handling on dry isn't as good as the contiextreme.

Default dry and some rain are my primary concern. snow would be very occaisional, by choice and light.

such as driving to the local moutains a couple times a winter.

Default Nokian WR = V rated all season. V= 150 mph. It does fine in the dry, but I wouldn't track it...

... or go canyon road bombing with it.

Default Re: Gary ?

Being that dry and some rain are your main concerns rather than snow, I'd consider the Nero M+S and Advan S4 instead of the Extreme Contact.

Tires
