Alright I'm finally ready to order tires but still not quite sure what to get. I'm considering Goodyear GS-D3, PZero Neros or even Dunlop SP Sport Maxx in 235/40/18.
Low noise is a must. I had Dunlop SP9000 before and I liked the fact that they were very quiet but I thought the sidewalls were a little too soft and too easy to damage. I bubbled 3 tires from that set. Wet performance is also important because it rains here pretty often. Ultimate performance is not really that important but like I said, I thought the SP9000s were a little too soft.
Based on these requirements, what would be my best choice?

My A3 came with P-Zero Rosso tires. The Goodyears are way quieter.
Sorry, not exactly what you asked for but it's close.
Try trierack.com and the November issue of Consumer Reports (really).
