Over a week ago I ordered a set of BBS RX II 18x8.5, now I found out offset of the wheels I ordered is et32 and the A4's offset is 42(correct me I'm wrong). I spoke to BBS and they told me that it's not listed as a fit, but it is listed to fit European A4s. They said that it might fit if I cut or bend the fenders. It even gets more confusing when a customer from the my friend's shop has the 18x8.5 BBS RCs on his 1.8tq without any fitting problems, I don't get it BBS told me that specs on the 18 RCs and RX IIs are exactly the same 18x8.5 32. Is the 32 offset really a perfect fit? Someone also said it would only fit an S4

The ET 32 is extereme on the limits of what will fit under the fender - expecially with the wider 8.5" rims since stock rims are 7" for 16" and 7.5" for 17" rims. I have a feeling that the tire size will matter a lot on what will fit.

They say the 32 offset should fit my car because it has to compensate for the wider 8.5" compared to the stock 7" width. Now I have 3 different responses on the A4 offset 35, 42 and 45 what is it really. Some also say that the offset on the S4 and A4 is the same, some say they're not. They also have their own seperate application when it comes to wheel fitment or maybe they really have the same offset but S4s' have different wheel wells.
