Default Opinions? Bridgestone RE71 or Pirelli P6000?

I'm limited to these based on the size I'll be using.

Default I had RE71s on my 17" wheels-

I ran the RE71s on my A4 and before that I used the race compound on my old 5000sq and MGB. I loved them- pretty good treadwear and traction.

Keep in mind the RE71s were the hot tire on the Porsche 959... that dates it a bit.

So... the tires are good for the money. A more modern tire will be quieter (but my Toyos are getting loud). But if you're running 18" wheels, that probably isn't a consideration.

Default Thanks, bought the RE71s...

Actually, I'm running 205/60-15 so there aren't many performance tires that fit. Considered Dunlop 5000s, rather new model, but they are all-season not performance.
