I had Michelin Pilot Sport a/s then tried Eagle F1 a/s and the sucked in noise and duration.Went to Michelin Primacy MXV4.I needed these for the warranty as I drive over 50k a year.

Huh. No love for the Kumho Ecsta ASX UHP all seasons?
I've had them on three of my cars with excellent results, my allroad currently has almost 25K on a set, and at $85 ea from Tire Rack, they have to be considered a good buy.

I have the Kumho ecsta asx on my ar now...
They were pretty good in the dry and even ok in the wet, but any snow or ice and my ar felt like it was on ball bearings. I had falken 512's before that - also a good value, but didn't feel like they were very good in the bad weather either. I know they were both pretty inexpensive and thus good value, but price isn't my primary concern - I just want the best tire i can get for the job.

So far I have had:
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S
Yokohama ADVAN S.4s
I actually liked the Yoko's and the Pirelli's better than the Michelin's. I live in Seattle and ski a fair amount, so not usually much snow in town, but last 15 miles or so to ski area has snow. To me, The Pirelli and the Yoko's have very nice dry/wet traction and reasonable snow traction. I run the same wheels all year long. These were 255/35/18's.
