Default Recommendations 215/45/17 vs. 225/45/17

I'm strongly considering the 215/45/17 over the 225/45/17 because I like the way the sidewall looks smaller. Anyhow, does anyone have any strong feelings on which one they like better? I saw the picture of the Boulder Audi Tuning car and those wheels looked nice, but I found out that they were 225/45/17. So sometiems they look nice and then other times they look like they have huge sidewalls. Confused!

Default Well, the speedo is off by only -1.4% with 17\215...

So I'd suggest getting the ones that best fit your favorite wheels.

Heck, the 215's might even be lighter.

Default Mike go for the 225/45/17 - You want to have as much protection for your wheels as possible

otherwise go for the 235/40/17s if you want less of a profile.
