Default S4/Dunlop SP 5000 Question....

I have seen that others have put the 235/45/17 SP5000 on the stock Avus wheels. Assuming stock suspension, has anyone had any rubbing problems? I am considering using this tire instead of dedicated summer and winter tires. Thanks in advance.

Default I have seen no postings about rubbing.

I think some people have been running 235/40/17 too.

Default The SP5K's are a good all around tire, but you don't

realize what the S4 is capable of handling wise until you put on a good set of summer performance tires. The RE040's do NOT count in that category. Try the S02/S03PPs, Pilot Sports, or similar. I ran a set of SP5's all winter and part of spring and recommend them highly, but I just switched to summer tires (S02's) recently. There is NO comparison in handling.
