Default Selecting tires

I'm thinking of upgrading my tires. I need an all-season tire with good handling (doesn't have to be super) and capability to drive well in Indiana snow. Snow tires are not an option (college student-budget limited :-( ). I'm especially interested in comfort and noise, and I don't really care about the wear and cornering capabilities.Currently, my choice are between Pirelli P7000SS, Michelin Pilot XGT H4, and Dunlop SP Sport 4000.
Anyway, any comments on whether I should do 225/50/16 or 205/55/16??
Which has more agressive look (does the 225 stick out too much that it will look weird?)
Thanks a lot for all your comments...I'd really appreciate them...

New Dunlop SP Sport 5000 all season has been getting good reports.

Could you point me toward reviews of the SP5000?
