Default Re: Blizzak MZ02 ?

I am no expert, but my impression is that Blizzards are best for snow on the ground all winter. Incredible snow tire. Similiar to brand that starts with "H" (whatever they are). What both types of tires give up is dry performance. For myself, I get 6 snow storms a year, thus dry performance is important. If i lived in Canada or someplace where snow/ice is covering the ground for 6 months, I would have gone with a true snow tire like the Blizzard or the "H" brand.

Default Using MZ-02's

I bought MZ-02's last winter for my FWD Avant. Here in Milwaukee we tend to have a lot of slush on the streets - days above freezing, nights below. I was very UNimpressed by the MZ-02's. We have the original Blizzaks on our Honda Odyssey, and they are much better.

The killer is that the MZ-02's are noisy on dry pavement, too. I'm going to replace them for this winter, but haven't decided on what tires, yet.
