Default SP 9000 or S03?

I am a bit concern about the ride comfort and the noise level after they are in the middle of their life span. Any comments?

Default I have SP9000's...

and they have been excellent. I have 3 I can sell real cheap if you want them. 2 have 50% tread, one has 85% tread. 225/40/18. You could buy a new one for about $180 to round out the set. Let me know.

Default SP9000s if comfort and low noise are your priorities ....

S-03s if you need ultimate dry and wet grip.

Default Re: SP 9000 or S03?

The 9000s are a great tire, in my opinion. I will try the S03s next, but I have had better wear from the 9000s (original) than my AVS Sports (current, plus sized). The 9000s were also very quiet. I would say that they had close to half their tread depth left after 20k miles, which included some hard cornering here and there. The Yoko's are close to gone after 20k miles. They provided a lot more dry performance, but they are also bigger, 245-35-19s, versus the OEM 9000s, which I think were 215-55-16s. So, it is probably unfair to compare performance given the different sizes I am basing my experience on. If they had a 9000 in 235-35-19s, I would consider it.

My guess is that in the same size, you will get better treadlife and lower noise from the 9000, but that the S-03 will offer a lot more performance, particularly in the dry.

I was "stunned" by how quiet and sticky 9000's are, that's what I would get.

I have SP 9ks and love them. They are 225/45/17s - what size were you planning to use

Just ordered 9000s over AVS Sports. I would have ordered S03s but they aren't made in 235/35-19
