Default I think that on the street you will see exactly 0 difference between the three.

at the track, I didnt any difference between 225 on 6" and 225 on 7"
R compound tires have really stiff sidewalls so that might be a factor. you just play around with tire pressures until you get what you want (so basically in the end, you get the same handling with the 6" rim and 7" rim)

at the beginning of this season I had 255 on 9", those were great. I'll be able to compare soon with 255 on 8". frankly, I dont think it'll change that much, besides the look.

Perhaps, but you WILL see the difference with lighter wheels.
