Which is stronger? SSR GT1 18x8 or BBS RC 17x8

I would go with Tirerack's tire size recommendations and run a 225/40 on the SSR and a 225/45 on the BBS.
The SSR is forged and the BBS is vacuum cast, and they weigh roughly the same (18-19 lbs)
So my question is concerning the risk of bending. With the SSR, I would have a bigger wheel and a smaller tire profile, so the wheel would have to be proportionately stronger than the BBS to provide the same resistance to bending, right?
Neglecting the price difference, forgetting about looks, and assuming that the rolling diameter would be the same given the tire size I would use, which one should I go with? I'm only concerned about strength.

The GT1s being a forged wheel wil still have the higher strength level over casting methods, although the BBSs are a bit higher tech than most cast wheels, but advantage in production goes to the SSrs (look great too!!)
I do have them, be sure to call me to discuss further if you need them or with any questions!
