Default Tire Choice?

04 S4 stock wheels. Considering Goodyear F1 GS-D3, Michelin PS2 or Toyo Proxes 4. Care more about dry than wet traction and of course tread wear.

Hei Hei,

I would recommend the Toyo Proxes 4. Great tire for what you are looking for. There also quiet and comfortable riding.

Default the goodyear F1 and Michelin PS2 are in a different class the the toyo 4.

F1 & PS2 are max performance. The toyo 4 is a high performance all season.

But he is cocerned with tread wear and the 4's have the best tread wear from the one's listed.

Default quote: Care more about dry than wet traction and of course tread wear.

Personally i would recommend he look at the Toyo T1-R from you. I love my T1-S's and will be getting a set of T1-R's from you come spring. I was simply pointing out the 3 tires he mentioned are in 2 seperate classes. I wanted to make sure he knew that as it is important as he mentioned "Care more about dry than wet traction and of course tread wear.".

Default Re: Your Suggestions

I appreciate all of your feedback. What it comes down to now is the best performance at the right price. I believe the F1 has the advantage here. Did anyone see last months tire test in eurotuner? The F1 won out over many other top performers. I also tried to stay away from a tire with less than a 280 wear rating. The F1 also won in the caranddriver tire comparison.

F1 is a great tire. So is the PS2. I doubt you be unhappy with either one. Check out the T1-R Also.
