Default Tire pressure for winter/summer storage?

When storing my wheels/tires for the winter/summer, should the tire pressures be lower/same/higher than when normally on the car?

Default Really doesn't make much difference, but ...

.
unless you pump them up before storage, they'll probably lose enough air to be low when it comes time to remount them. So in any case, be sure to recheck pressure then.

FWIW, I inflate the spare to the maximum stamped on the tire for the same reason. I never get around to checking the spare's pressure very often, and I don't want it to be too low if I ever have a flat and need the spare.
