Default Tire Rotation....
What is strategy for a 5 tire rotation (full size spare) for A6 Quattro

Default My strategy is "don't bother"
It's a PITA if your tires are directional, because then you can only use the spare in rotation on only one side of the car. Besides, with quattro, you really want all 4 tires to have the same amount of tread. And if you have 3 tires to use on the right side and 2 tires to use on the left side, you'll wind up with more tread on the right side.

I only do front-to-back rotation on my A4Q, no side-to-side, and I don't touch the spare at all.

Default Then do an X. It use to be they said that you could not switch sides with radials but I understand
that this rule of thumb is no longer valid and you can treat them like bias ply.

The primary benefit is to make your spare tire really dirty.
