Tires/rims

I have a set of 17x8 BBS RK rims on my Audi A6 2.7T. Tire rack suggests 235/45 tires and was wondering how big of tires I could fit on my car??
Could I go bigger than that like a 245/45 ?

You can also use 245/45R17 on those wheels on your car.

thanks, and they wont cause any problems as far as tread wear or camber are concerned ? i just didnt know if they would overhang too far or not ?
