TT winter tires?

TT winter tires?
I am purchasing a 2003 TT roadster 225 in a week or so. I live outside NYC and we get snow (a whole bunch this year for our area). I don't know whether to get the optional all season 17 inch 225/45 tires or take the performance tires and purchase a set of winter tires. I will use the car as my daily driver.

Re: TT winter tires?
A friend of mine in the NY area got a new A4 with all seasons and said the car drove with enough confidence this winter for her liking.
I drive a TT quattro and didn't see as much snow as the east coast this past winter, but I got a set of 16in wheels with 205/55/16 dedicated snow tires and I would do the same thing again.
The thing to remember is it's not only the 4 winter months to be concerned about, it's also the 8 summer months where you're giving up the performance of summer tires. It depends on the type of driver you are.
