Hi folks
I'm considering switching my trucks tires from the rare OEM size of 255/55R19 to the more popular 255/60R19. Using a tire size calculator, I found out the diameter would go from a touch over 30" to a little over 31". That sounds like it should be fine to me but the tire rack pretty much insisted I should stick to OEM sizing. Can someone more knowledgeable please chime in on whether this would be a risky switch or pretty harmless?
TIA

255/60R19 is actually a very rare size with only two tires made in this size. 255/55R19 is much more common.
