Default What could tire installer have done to affect alignment?

(edited to correct tire model)

I had new tires installes a few weeks ago. The car drove true prior. Now it pulls to the right. Could they have screwed up my alignment installing tires? Is that likely or unlikely (I know anything can happen, but...) Or am I dealing with radial pull? If so, how do I identify which tire it is that has the defect?

They are 225/45/17 BFG G-Force Sports. I am really happy withh them all around. The only question remaining is tread life.

Thanks for your help.

Ivan

I don't see how the installer could have messed up your alignment if he only installed tires and did no other work on the car.

I'd suggest going back to him with the problem. They can switch the tires from side to side to see if the pull follows a specific tire.

Default Thanks Gary. Of course, they are directional so that means an unmount and remount!

They did such a good job of not scratching my rims the first time...

But that is what I will suggest unless they do first.

Default They can try them going the 'wrong' way first to save time/$$.

If the pull moves to the other side of the car, even with the tire going 'backwards' this still might help identify a problem first before having to dismount.
