What is the difference b/t the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A & Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole
Position. The reviews on TR's site score the Pole positions amost a point hight across the board, but they are almost $50 more a tire and the RE050A's price at $77 closeout is pretty attractive.

I asked this question a few weeks back about the same tire.
In a nutshell, the Pole Positions have a slightly different tread compound resulting in better wet and dry grip. Or something along those linges.

I haven't bought mine yet, but I'll likely be going w/ the RE050A PPs.
The other option I'm researching is the RE01R, but that might be just a little too track biased for my liking.
