Images of what the new Sport wheels will look like are depressing. The 10-spoke Neil McGarry posted look like they should be OE on the base 1.8T. The 10-spokes pulled from Euro images that date back a ways are okay, but have a sort of wagon-wheel quality about them. Hell, the fact that the Sport option wheels are still 16" is almost offending with the proliferation of 17" and 18" options from competing brands.
This is what the new OE Sport wheels <u><b>should</u></b> look like, in 17"...

of the beholder. You like those, and I think they are offensively gawdy. Sport package wheels should be sporty, but when I look at that picture you posted all I see are those wheels and I don't even notice the car! I think wheels should complement the car, not overpower it. I guess that's why I actually like my stock 7-spokers.
