What is the proper offset for 18X8.5 wheels?

Default What is the proper offset for 18X8.5 wheels?

I am thinking of getting custom wheels and need to find the best offset for a set of 18X8.5.. And also I plan to lower the car in the future also.. Any advice? Thanks in advance<p>Dmak 1.8TQMS

Default From what I understand...

...the proper offset is anywhere from 35mm to 38 mm...the lower the number, the more it'll move toward the outside of the car...if you want an agressive fit, go for something around 35mm...if you want more conservative fitment, go for around 38mm...<p>Jason G<br>98.5 A!AvantGarde 2.8
