What size of tire for a 19x8? Also what the maximum width for 18x8.5.........MORE

I have 18x8.5 projektzwo's with 225/40/18's. What I don't like is the tire looks to narrow for the width of the wheel giving the sidewalls a stretched look. Will 265/35 have the same overall diamater as the 225/40?

235 35 19 / no, 265 35 is not the same as 225 40..

For 35-series tires, you will want a tire that is 257 mm wide, but, i really doubt that itll fit under your fenders. i tried running a set of MAE's off my friends MB with 245 40 18s and i had major rubbing problems..
