What wheel offset are people using for H&R coilovers on 18" wheels?

I have a 2001 1.8Tquattro and going to install H&R coil overs. But my concern is what size offset are people using if I want to put 18"wheels on the H&R coil overs? I am leaning towards the replica RS4 wheels if possible. If not anyone have suggestions?

http://pfadfinder.account1223.biz/</a

I lowered more than 1.25". I later switched to 225/40-18's and was able to lower 1.5" w/o any rubbing - even at driving events.
I have since switched to 18x8 ET35 ACHTUN!NG RS4 replicas w/ 225/40-18 S03's and do not rub. BTW, S03's at 225 are as wide or wider than most other brand's 235's.
