Default What would it take to fit these wheels?

I'm always a bit confused when it comes to offsets. I believe a 10 or 15mm spacer would work, but you tell me if I have it backwards.

Current stock Q5 wheel: Width 8" offset 39mm
New wheel spec: Width 8.5" offset 45mm

Difference stock vs. new
  • Inner clearance: 12mm LESS (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
  • Outer clearance: Same as stock.

Hi

Inner clearance will be 2mm LESS with 10mm spacers, than stock.
Giving you an offset off 35 instead of 45.
They will then also get 10mm further out =)
