Default check tirerack, I have both: rossos on allroad and neros on TT...

Rosso is a high performance summer with a treadware of maybe 220 (double check) and I have nero M+S with tread rating of 400. I like both although I use neither for winter. Both are quiet with handling more than adequate for my moderate driving style. I like having good tires on my cars but don't like replacing them often. I find the neros to be just as good as the rossos (for me) and expect much more tire life than the RE040s they replaced. The 040s could have lasted this past summer season but I couldn't stand the noise when I took off my pilot alpins and put them on in spring. With a roadster I wanted quiet, performance and value and the nero is all that. I will put the neros on my allroad when the rossos wear out if they are available in my size. I thnk the nero is a hell of a lot of tire for the money.
