What's the scoop on Volk wheels' quality? Daytona, to be exact...

Volk's rock and are very strong. If they make a correct fitment for your car, then get them.
The only thing is that I think that you have to custom order from Japan to get a 5x112. This costs mucho dinero. Now if you don't have an A4, A6, or S4, then it may not be such a big deal.
