I am trying to fit my lexus bolt pattern rims (5x114.3) on to my B5 S4. I can get adapters but that will push the rim out an inch. Will the wheel stick out to far in the front? Is it safe to have the bolt pattern re-drilled? Will the rim look the same? They are 18x8 SSR GT3. Thanks all!

To do that the right way, and even that's questionable, You would have to weld the Lexus holes up, jig ib the wheels to redrill to the new bolt pattern. And just drilling isn't enough, you have to bore the precise taper for the wheel bolts. All this to "adapt" your wheel? When you can sell yours and buy the right ones with the correct bolt pattern. I wouldn't do it.
