wheel fit 8x18 ET 43

can I be assured that a wheel with the same geometry will fit without any problems? looking some wheels for older A8 which currently has 8x18 ET43. will any wheel with these measurements work and clear calipers?

caliper clearance depends on spoke design as well as offset

Thanks, how can I make sure? the wheels are 8x18 with same offset.

hard to tell unless you can fit the wheel to the car

Keep in mind that if the brake pads are worn it can affect how far out the caliper sits.
