Question for the group.

Anyone have experience with wheel spacers? Good-bad. Found a wheel for the 01 A8 but needs a spacer to clear the big front brakes. Should all 4 wheels get spacers? What happens to the suspension geometry? Where is best place to get them??

There will be an increase in the wear and tear on the wheel bearings with this installation. Your differentials will also be affected because the load characteristics have been changed. I was thinking of putting some spacers on my 96A4Q and wanted to run it by a local shop tuner and this is what they told me. If you can afford these repairs then it's all good but I don't recommend since both components are very expensive to replace.
