Who is less expensive for our A4 tire sizes?...TireRack or Discount Tire?

Tire Rack only has three of the tires I want for track...with absolutely no ETA.....I have never dealt with discount tire....are they any good? for availability? for cost? for service?<p>Thanks.<p>Steve S.<br>97 2.8QM

Your local autox'ers (besides yourself) may know of a good wheel/tire shop. That's how I found out about a good Discount Tire in Dallas, with the latest and greatest Hunter machines, great prices (same as Tire Rack), and a guy that a bunch of the local autox-er's would turn to for tires/wheels. No idea about Discount Tire Direct. They're not quite the same company.<p>Alas, no Discount Tire up here. My Toyos are taking a beating too. I could be nicer, but that would be cheating. I think I'll get 1 year out of my Toyos, and about 16K miles. I figure I'll just autoX them to death once they get to about 2/32nd (not hard for someone who still sucks at autoX).<p>Warren
