First, just by looking at your picture. The tire would be sticking out a lot past the rim lip which is not the case by the looks of it. That is why I said that your rims look wider than that.
Also, if your rims were in fact 7 inch wide, whoever mounted your tires would probably warn you that you're trying to use a tire that is too wide for a given rim.
Using a tire that is too wide for a given rim may prevent the tire from making a proper seal with the rim and stretches the sidewalls beyond its engineered safety limits. This in turn increases a chance for the tire to slip from the rim. But I suspect that would only happen if you pushed the car hard in the corners.
If I had to guess, my guess would be your rims are 8" wide.
