Will a 2005 A4 wheel fit my 2001 A6 2.7t?

I epspecially like the look of the stock 17" split 5 spoke from the 2005 A4 2.0T, but have no idea if it will fit over the calipers on my 2001 A6 2.7T. Anyone have experience with this application? Thanks for the help!

The B7 A4s have pretty big brakes, so my initial thought is that they should clear.
Check the specs on your brakes vs theirs.
According to the AW article on the B7 A4, the brakes are the same as the B6 S4 brakes:
Front size 13.6 in. 345x30 mm

disc diameter and caliper size are two different things
what makes the HP2 caliper a problem is the fact that it sticks way the hell outside the rotors on both sides of the rotor.
Thats why there are fewer wheels that fit the C5A6 2.7t and B5 S4 than the variants of the same car without the HP2 calipers.
So while the rotors may fit, the inside of the spokes are likely to strike the caliper which hinders the cars ability to roll.
