i can't find the tire i want in a 225/45/17 size so i may have to go to a 235. will there be any problems from this. thanks for any advice.

I have Pirelli P7000SS on Ronal R-28's on the sports package with no rubbing whatsoever.

I'm just wondering AC, did you adjust the speedometer error. I leased my A4 and i am a little concerned about the extra milage i will accrue.

In terms of fitting it to the wheel, my M5 came stock with 17x8's and 235/45/17's. Many M5 guys run 245/45/17's (esp. in R compounds) with no problems. The difference in diameter is not significant. I would bet it would be the same for your car for 225 v. 235. In fact, if the "45" is the ratio to tire width, it would seem the difference would be less than 235 v. 245, 45% of a 225 being less than that of a 235. I could be wrong.<p>KJK 91 M5
