will et37 19x9.5 wheels with 245 series tires fit under B5 S4?

ET37-38 is probably ideal offset for wide tire fitments on a B5...
...but those rims are SO wide, that I'd wanna make sure they're not too wide for the uprights. Also, 245/whats? 245/35's will almost certainly be too tall, but 245/30-19's should probably be okay, but talk about a driving in on nothing but O-rings...ouch. Only 2.9" of sidewall height before compression.
