Default Will I notice a difference between H and V rated tires in normal highway and city driving? (m)

I'm about to purchase some winter tires, and they come in both H and V speed ratings. I have an S4. the V rated tires are about $25 per tire more than the H. Is it worth the cash if I'm not going to push the car in the winter? Thanks.

Default Where did you find a V snowtire??? The answer is...

Generalizing: Summer, higher ratings have much better belt packages and better water channeling to reduce hydroplaning. In winter, the tread compound is harder and the siping is less dense in the higher rated tire. Go for the lower speed rating in winter.
