Winter Wheels and Tyres
I have just ordered an S3 here in Stockholm, if the paper work is good I can pick it up on the 1st of March-. However I have a problem in that the dealer insists I spend heaps of money on new wheels and tyres (150 GBP). The same wheels(new) fitted with tyres for winter use. I know there is an option for steel wheels listed.
Given that it is a legal requirement in Sweden for winter tyres from Dec through March.
q1: Are the steel wheels available or is there another option.
q2: What do other people in similar enviroments do ?
