x-post C5 4.2 / S6 owners - front tire inner edge of tread contacting upright due to tire squirm?

Cliff notes:
2002 S6
Drivers side inner tire appears to be machined by either the upright or the tie rod end, however there's no definitive evidence of contact, besides the healthy groove in the tread.
-255/40-17 Kumho Ecsta inflated to 36psi
-Lemfoerder "S4 style" 4D0-422-821-A tie rod ends
-Suspension, brakes, & wheels are all stock.
