Default x-post: what tire size would you recommend for 19x8 wheels?
shopping for new wheels and tires for the a8. was wondering what tire size to put on 19x8, 35 offset wheels. 255/40-19, 245/40-19, others? any preference or recommendations?

255 seem kinda wide...i have 235 on my 19x8.5

Default 255 is the standard D3 A8 width in 18" and 19" OEM wheel fitments...
40 series in 19's.

Audi also fit 255's on the C5 4.2 with 17"x8" wheels.
