Howdy. I have some OEM wineglass 16x7" rims (from a newer model) on my 1992 100 Avant fronttrac. They have an offset of 45mm on them. Is this a correct offset for a 1998 and up A6?

I have done some thread searching here in Audiworld and seen many offsets quoted for the various models, so I am curious what the definitive one is.

I am looking at getting a 1998-2002 A6 Avant 2.5 TDi in the next year, so I want to know if any or all of my current wheels will fit this car properly. I have several sets of rims now (15x6" steelies with 45mm offset, 16x7 45mm wineglass and 17x8 ET38 which tramline like a bitch).
